The United Comforters, Inc.  mission is to represent the light in the form of peaceful expressions that educates and brings into remembrance the value of life, while shielding and glorifying the process of reestablishing a more organic and peaceful world.

                                                            Our History

The United Comforters, Inc. was started in 2006 with the passion for life.  The purpose of the non-profit organization is to educate and invoke progressive changes, which will support and nurture the evolution of all life. The United Comforters, Inc.  has been  committed to personal, community and global improvement.  Sponsorship of seminars and workshops  have been a great tool for achieving our goal in the sharing of information to the public.  Our mission continues to evolve into the instrument of change and support for the prosperity and longevity of our global community.    

                                                            Our Founder

Lester Williams, a native of the Caribbean,  grew up in Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Boston Latin Academy high school.  As captain and coach of his high school soccer team, he graduated in 1984 and received the “Mayor’s Academic and Sportsmanship Award” for his contributions  to the spirit and standard of academics and sports in the City of Boston.  As a Computer and Electrical Engineer student and President of his fraternity,  Iota Phi Theta, Inc.  Mr. Williams founded  the Nuance Multicultural Program at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.  Created in 1987, the program was designed to bring awareness and to educate students about the uniqueness of their cultures.  He was also the founder of Juanita Record Company in 1991 and the Williams Business Group, Inc. in 2001.  In 2006 Mr. Williams lead the campaign in Dorchester to stop the genocide in the country of Sudan; Mr. Williams was so effective that he was featured in the World News section of the Boston Globe.  Mr. Williams, so moved from the experience of the Darfur campaign, went on to established the United Comforters, Inc., in 2006 in response to the needs and concerns of his community and the world.    Mr. Williams  continues to serve the community while collaborating with other organizations and individuals who are committed to the improvement of education and social improvement for all citizens locally and world wide.  

                                                             Our Works

The United Comforters, Inc. have collaborated with many great organizations, such as, the American Cancer Society’s,  “Look Good Feel Better” program, Boston Elder Service, Dimock Community Health Center, “The Wellness Program,” Women of Color Round Table’s  “Aids Awareness Program,” the Lupus Foundation of New England’s  “Gears.”  In addition, we have worked with educational institutions such as New York University, Bentley College and the Boston Public Libraries.  The United Comforters, Inc. looks  forward to continue working  with our present partners and seeks new collaboration with  organizations or individuals supportive of our mission.
